We suggest you bake very simple bagels, which consist of just three ingredients - butter, flour and sour cream. To diversify the taste, you can add any filling - jam, jam, chocolate, cottage cheese or just sprinkle the dough with sugar and cinnamon. In any case, the pastries will be delicious.

Ingredients:

Butter or baking margarine - 250 g;

Sour cream with a fat content of at least 15% - 230 g;

Flour - 500 grams.

Recipe:

We will make shortcrust pastry, there is nothing difficult in this, although this is already a kind of higher science. If you have a bowl of a mixer, then put in it cold butter, cut into pieces and add flour, grind, and then add sour cream. The dough is ready.

For those who are deprived of such a wonderful technique, we will tell you how to do it by hand. Cool the oil as much as possible (but not in the freezer). Cut it into small pieces. Add flour to it.

We put on gloves and quickly grind the butter and flour into crumbs. The bottom line is that the oil does not start to melt. Those. you need to do this quickly, or you can put a bowl of dough in a bowl of ice. Then the oil does not have time to melt.

Add cold sour cream to the crumbs.

Mix everything thoroughly with a spoon or hands. We form a ball and hide it in the refrigerator for half an hour.

After the specified time, we take out our dough and divide it into 4 parts or 6 parts. We work with one, we send the rest in the refrigerator. Roll thinly the dough into a circle.

Divide it into 8 parts. Turn the dough from the edge to the center. If you decide to make bagels with a filling, then put a little filling on a wide edge and twist as shown in the photo. The edges can be pressed so that the filling does not leak.

We spread the bagels, and the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes at 220 degrees.

Sprinkle the finished bagels with icing sugar and immediately serve. It is best to store them in a dark and dry container, for example, in a tin can.
