Feng Shui Chinese art identifies the five dominant elements: water, fire, earth, metal and wood. All of them alternate in a two-year cycle, replacing one another, and have a great influence on our lives.

Determine your element by year of birth

The main thing to consider is that the Chinese New Year usually comes later than ours, therefore, to determine your element, you need to make calculations according to the Chinese calendar. If your birthday is after the Chinese New Year, the element must be determined by the last two digits of the year of birth. For those born between January 1 and January 20, the elements are determined by the last two digits of the previous year.

For example, if you were born on April 14, 1979, the numbers 7 and 9 are taken for calculations. If your date of birth is January 2, 1985, then your numbers are 8 and 4. And finally, for those born on January 20 until February 20th, calculations are carried out individually.

And here is how the five elements are distributed in accordance with the numbers:

- 1 and 0 - metal

- 2 and 3 - water

- 4 and 5 - tree

- 6 and 7 - fire

- 8 and 9 are land.

Obviously, almost all of us, by the year of our birth, are under the influence of two elements, periodically one of them can become dominant, the other can hardly appear. But, one way or another, both of them are present and affect the character of a person.

The influence of the main five elements of feng shui

- Metal. People are ambitious and hardy, stubborn and demanding. These are absolute realists, often ruthless and cynical. But they are very reliable and responsible. Because of their independence, they are often known as arrogant and cunning, are sharp-tongued and unpredictable in their actions.

Others consider such a person an eccentric personality. Therefore, often metal people remain lonely for life, become isolated in themselves, indulge in melancholy and gloom. However, this does not detract from their huge sexual potential, although in sex they are choosy, but insatiable and hot.

- Water. The element gives such qualities as variability, flexibility, elusiveness. People of this element are distinguished by a light, sociable character, but at the same time they are prone to windiness, frivolity, forgetfulness and irresponsibility.

Outwardly, they are usually elegant, graceful and charming, witty, endowed with rich imagination and extraordinary talents, but. But due to inconstancy and some passivity, they rarely achieve something in life.

- Tree. If this is your element, then you are an idealist, distinguished by tolerance and humanity. Diplomacy, charm and breadth of views are inherent in people - "trees". They are very active, are interested in everything new and love experiments.

For all their responsiveness and goodwill, the representatives of the elements are wayward and principled. Often they are disorderly, they are afraid of intrusion into their personal space, which makes it difficult to find a partner.

- the fire. This is passion, temperament, love of life, originality and movement. Everyone knows what fire is! People of this element are recognized leaders who love noisy companies. At the same time, they are big egoists, so they can get bored with their folly, become obsessive, even arrogant, not noticing it themselves. At heart, however, these are optimists and romantic dreamers, sensitive, emotional and vulnerable.

-Land. By their sexuality and inexhaustibility in bed, they can only be compared with metal people. Only "earthlings" in this regard are more patient, gentle and caring. They are not strangers to stubbornness, self-will, prudence and even greed.

People of the elements also love to think and engage in introspection for a long time, which often leads to the rejection of personal wealth and self-sacrifice. The connection with nature, with the earth is very deep and strong.

Why you need to know your element

In accordance with Chinese philosophy, only harmony and balance between all five elements will bring peace and tranquility under your shelter, protect it from negative influences from the outside. Such a balance will protect all households from illnesses and accidents, help them find themselves in the professional field and become happy in their personal lives.

When you or your children do not get along in love, study or career, pay attention to the elements and their impact on fate. After all, all the elements are closely intertwined, forming three cycles, depending on the predominant element:

- creation;

- destruction;

- mitigation.

It happens that by date of birth a person belongs to one element, but the dominant features of his character, real actions and behavior correspond to the exact opposite. This is completely natural: we are changing along with our life, growing up, and gaining new knowledge.

But not always the decisions made by us are correct. Therefore, often a person unconsciously goes against his own nature, thus violating the balance between the elements. If you know how to determine your element by Feng Shui, then you can compare what was destined for you with real events in real life, and then draw the necessary conclusions. A thorough analysis and the right decision will help to return good luck, peace, self-confidence, joy and happiness.
