Hedgehogs are cute cutlets that are traditionally cooked with rice. But more and more often you can find recipes with other additives: mushrooms, vegetables, buckwheat, cheese.

It turns out new, interesting and tasty dishes.

Absolutely all options for hedgehogs can be prepared in a slow cooker, which we will do.

Hedgehogs in a slow cooker - general principles of preparation

You can take the minced meat or twist the meat yourself. Often a bird is added to the cutlet mass. Rice is a must-have ingredient in hedgehogs, but it can be replaced with another cereal. Also in the meat mass put spices, onions and other vegetables. For the strength of the hedgehogs add an egg. Then the mass is stirred, sculpted balls of arbitrary, but the same size between each other.

In the multicooker, hedgehogs can be steamed or stewed in different sauces. Such cutlets do not fry, since the cereal is laid in raw and in kind and requires moisture to swell. The multicooker area is limited, but it is not necessary to lay hedgehogs in one layer. You can put meat balls on top of each other, spill with sauce, shift vegetables and sprinkle with herbs.

Steamed hedgehogs in a slow cooker

A diet dish that is great for children and adults. You can use any meat, but it is better to give preference to low-fat veal or beef, turkey, chicken. It tastes better from mixed minced meat.

Ingredients

• 0.4 kg of minced meat;

• 0.5 cups of rice;

• 1 onion;

• 1 egg.

Cooking

1. Forcemeat needs to be twisted two times so that it turns out small. The second time we chop together with it onion.

2. Rinse the rice, drain the liquid from the cereal, and send it to the minced meat.

3. Add one raw egg.

4. Now spices. For baby food, salt alone is enough. If hedgehogs are prepared for adults, then you can pour in the bulk of pepper and other spices to your taste.

5. Pour a liter of water into the multicooker.

6. We roll out balls the size of a chicken egg from minced meat. We lay out on a tray for steam cooking.

7. Turn on the slow cooker. No need to watch when the water boils. Just set the steaming for 1 hour and 20 minutes. This time will be enough.

Minced tomato hedgehogs with rice in a slow cooker

Recipe for hedgehogs from minced meat with rice in a slow cooker that immediately comes with tomato sauce. The perfect complement to any side dish. Forcemeat use any meat.

Ingredients

• 0.5 kg of minced meat;

• 250 ml of water;

• 0.5 cups of rice;

• 1 onion head;

• 1 spoon of pasta;

• 1 egg;

• spices;

• 1 bunch of greenery;

• 3-4 tablespoons of sour cream.

Cooking

1. Rice does not need to be cooked, but it is advisable to rinse and pour the cereal with water for about twenty minutes, let it swell.

2. Finely chop the onion, combine with minced meat, put an egg to them.

3. Drain water from rice, put in minced meat.

4. Put salt, pepper and any seasonings. You can take a mixture for meat, aromatic salt, etc.

5. Stuff the minced meat with your hands until smooth.

6. Divide into pieces of 50-70 grams, roll up the balls.

7. Cooking the sauce. To do this, mix sour cream with tomato paste, add half the recipe water and season the sauce with spices.

8. In the greased multicooker, lay one layer of hedgehogs. Pour each ball with the prepared sauce, sprinkle with chopped herbs. If there is minced meat, then spread the second layer of hedgehogs and grease the sauce again.

9. Add the remaining water to the sauce, stir it and gently pour it into the dish, preferably on the wall so as not to wash the sauce off the meat balls.

10. Turn on the quenching mode and cook the hedgehogs under the lid for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Mushroom hedgehogs in a slow cooker

The recipe for amazing hedgehogs in a slow cooker, which are prepared with pickled mushrooms. For pouring, you need sour cream, it is better to take a fatty product.

Ingredients

• 0.3 kg of minced meat;

• 0.1 kg of mushrooms;

• 0.3 cups of rice;

• 150 grams of sour cream;

• a piece of oil;

• egg;

• onion.

Cooking

1. Free the mushrooms from the marinade and cut into small cubes or straws.

2. Pour rice with water, let it stand a little.

3. Chop the onion, too, into small pieces, but you can twist it together with the meat into minced meat.

4. Combine chopped mushrooms with minced meat and onions. Add the egg to them.

5. Pour water from the rice, transfer the cereal to the cutlet mass.

6. Refuel future hedgehogs with any seasoning, salt. If suddenly the mince turned out to be weak due to the egg, then just let it stand for a while. Rice will take away excess water.

7. Add 100 ml of water to sour cream, you can throw chopped garlic, be sure to salt.

8. Form the hedgehogs and put them in a greased cup from the multicooker. Pour on top with sour cream sauce.

9. Close, cook the patties on the baking program for exactly 50 minutes, that is, the full cycle. If necessary, time can be shed.

Minced cabbage hedgehogs with rice in a slow cooker

A variant of very juicy minced hedgehogs with rice in a slow cooker. And all thanks to the addition of cabbage. The dish is not only very tasty, but also economical. Gravy is prepared from tomato juice with vegetables.

Ingredients

• 0.4 kg of minced meat;

• 0.3 cups of rice;

• 1 egg;

• 5 tablespoons chopped cabbage;

• 1 onion;

• 1 carrot;

• 20 ml of oil;

• 400 ml of tomato juice.

Cooking

1. Rinse the rice. Pour a little water, leave to stand.

2. We chopped cabbage with our hands, it is possible with salt and put into minced meat.

3. Add rice, break the egg, season the mass with spices and mix thoroughly. You do not need to put onions in the hedgehogs themselves, but you can add a little garlic for taste.

4. Pour the oil, turn on the miracle pan for baking.

5. Cut the onion into cubes, send it to fry.

6. Add the grated carrot in about five minutes, and also lightly fry.

7. While the vegetables are browning, roll up the meat balls.

8. Put the koloboks on vegetables, preferably placed in one layer.

9. Tomato juice is a little salt. It is important not to overdo it, since almost all of it is absorbed into the balls, and they may turn out to be oversalt. If there is no juice, then we breed pasta. You can even take ketchup.

10. Pour juice on hedgehogs.

11. Close the lid. Cooking on the baking program for another hour. But you can turn on the hedgehog. On it, hedgehogs will also be cooked for about an hour.

Hedgehogs in a slow cooker with buckwheat

For some reason, everyone is used to cooking hedgehogs in a slow cooker with rice, but few people make meat balls with buckwheat. After all, this is a wonderful find for people losing weight and monitoring their health.

Ingredients

• 0.2 kg of minced meat;

• 0.5 cup buckwheat;

• 0.5 onions;

• 1 yolk;

• A little oil;

• 1 glass of water or broth;

• 1 spoon of ketchup or pasta.

Cooking

1. Add chopped onion to minced meat.

2. We wash buckwheat and also add to the cutlet mass.

3. We send the yolk there, season with spices.

4. Thoroughly stir the mass, let it stand for ten minutes, so that the cereal swells, and the minced meat becomes denser.

5. Wet hands in cold water, form buckwheat hedgehogs. Immediately put in a slow cooker.

6. Mix the broth or water with a spoon of pasta (or tomato ketchup), salt and pour into a slow cooker.

Minced hedgehogs with rice in a slow cooker (with cream sauce)

The recipe for the most tender hedgehogs, which are prepared with a thick creamy sauce. It will have to be done on the stove.

Ingredients

• 0.4 kg of minced meat;

• 0.3 cups of rice;

• onion;

• egg;

• spices and 3-4 tablespoons of oil.

For the sauce:

• 20 grams of butter;

• 1 spoon of flour;

• salt;

• 350 cream of 10%.

Cooking

1. Throw washed rice into minced meat, put chopped onion and egg. Season the cutlet mixture with spices, stir, leave for a quarter of an hour.

2. We sculpt hedgehogs, the size does not matter.

3. Heat the oil in a slow cooker, fold the meat balls and fry a little in the baking mode on one side.

4. Add 100 ml of water, close and put on the quenching mode. We bring the hedgehogs almost to readiness, on average it will take half an hour.

5. In a pan, melt a piece of butter, add flour and pass a little.

6. Pour the cream, cook the sauce until thickened. We put salt, you can pepper, well with cream sauce, paprika and garlic are combined. In general, we refuel to your taste.

7. Pour the cream sauce to the hedgehogs, simmer for another fifteen minutes, then leave the meat balls to stand under the lid for another half hour.

Hedgehogs in a slow cooker with vegetables

Amazing recipe for meat hedgehogs on a vegetable pillow in a slow cooker. Eggplant with sweet pepper is added here, but you can also use zucchini, pumpkin, cabbage.

Ingredients

• 0.3 kg of meat;

• 0.3 cups of rice;

• 1 onion;

• 1 egg.

For a vegetable pillow:

• 1 onion head;

• butter;

• 2 eggplants;

• 2 peppers;

• 3 tomatoes;

• 1 carrot.

Cooking

1. Cut the eggplant into cubes, fill it with salt. After a quarter of an hour, rinse and wring.

2. While the eggplants are standing, mix the rice with minced meat, onion and a raw egg, season with spices, stir.

3. Chop the onion with the carrot randomly and immediately put it into the multicooker. Turn on the baking and fry with the addition of three tablespoons of oil.

4. Add eggplant to vegetables.

5. After five minutes, put the Bulgarian peppers, cut into cubes, stir well, salt.

6. We make hedgehogs from minced meat, put it evenly on a vegetable pillow.

7. Grate the tomatoes until mashed, pour the hedgehogs on top.

8. Close the slow cooker, turn on the quenching mode. Such hedgehogs with vegetables are prepared for 45-50 minutes.

Hedgehogs in a slow cooker - useful tips and tricks

• If you cook hedgehogs in a slow cooker for a couple, then in the bowl itself you can pour not just water, but put cereal for garnish in the liquid. Thus, you can immediately kill two birds with one stone and make a full dinner or a second meal for lunch.

• If you leave hedgehogs in a slow cooker, be sure to close the lids. Rice dries quickly enough, seizes with solid particles, such cutlets will be unpleasant to eat.
